Advertising receives award for advertising
excellence
OAKLAND,
Calif. E-agency Advertising,
an Oakland-based advertising firm, has
won an ADDY award for a print ad for the
Oakland International Airport.
E-agency
Advertising received a Silver Certificate
of Excellence Award tonight at the 2001
East Bay ADDY awards ceremony at the Scottish
Rite Center in Oakland. The award was
presented for a four-color, fractional
page ad titled "We Prefer Our Drama
On Stage." The ad highlights how
flying out of the Oakland International
Airport can be a hassle-free experience.
The ad was designed by senior designer
David Tsai and the ad copy was written
by creative director Charles Martell.

"We are very pleased with this honor,"
said David Dunn, president and chief executive

The
ad originally ran in the April 2000 Berkeley
Shakespeare Festival program book.
AdMark presents the annual ADDY awards,
an American Advertising Federation Advertising
Awards Competition. The local awards recognize
excellence in advertising among East Bay
advertising firms. All entries are evaluated
for their creative merits, visual elements,
typography, copy writing and production
values. A panel of four independent judges,
who live and work outside of the San Francisco
Bay Area, selects the award winners.
E-agency Advertising is an Oakland advertising
and design firm that has more than a decade

Georgia-Pacific Corp. and KaiserAir.
Founded
